FC Laser’s 40,000 SQ FT production facility is based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire in the heart of the Midlands. Positioned perfectly in the heart of the country just minutes from J25 of the M1, a location now considered to be the centre and most convenient place in the country for its road infrastructure network to minimise distribution time.

Opened in March 2018 and expanded in 2022, visitors to the site will be able to see FC Laser’s ‘suite’ of Bystronic laser profilers, including three 12Kw Bystar machines capable of cutting material up to 30mm thick and 6M in length. Two of our 12Kw Bystar fiber lasers are fed by a Bystronic automatic material loading and part storage system. Our laser cutting capability is completed with two LT7 fiber tube lasers, the most complete and advanced laser cutting tubes available. The BLM machines perfectly balance efficiency in production and quality. Our facility is home to the very latest capital equipment portfolio available in the market place today.

Alongside our seven Laser cutting machines is a set of six press brakes, the 4M 320 tonne Bystronic Xpert 320, an Xpert 150 press at 3M and a suite of Xpert 40’s. We also have four MIG & TIG welding bays, Pemming, tapping, drilling & countersinking machinery. Galvanising & powder coating completes our services package.
